My Top 10 Battle Rappers

Everyone who knows me knows that I love battle rap. I was a little late to the party being a fan for about 7 years now but Ever since I saw the Lady luck vs Remy Ma and Murda Mook vs Serius Jones, I've had this deep, intrinsic, fanatical love for the methodical, analytic, lyrical combat. The first battle I ever saw was Remy Ma vs Lady Luck before Remy got locked up and when Luck was on her straight up butch sh*t. Then I saw Murda Mook vs Serius Jones. Being a female and a songwriter, I love music of all kinds but when I saw Murda Mook I became infatuated. The way he was able to use lyrics to totally dead the opposition ultimately motivated me to become a more lyrical writer, put more thought into what I was saying. After watching a Mook battle for the first time, I was definitely excited about every battle after that. He became my favorite battle rapper and still to this day remains # 1 on my list. Some people would say that he is arguably undefeated, but UNDEFEATED is all that matters.  He remains and rains as battles raps G.O.A.T and the god of lyrical assassinations. The Murder of Laquan Mcdonald

17-year-old Laquan Mcdonald was shot and killed by Chicago PD officer, Jason Van Dyke. Laquan Mcdonald was from the 37th ward of Chicago and a student at Sullivan House High School. 

Mcdonald, was said to be allegedly armed with a 3-inch knife and also allegedly according to *some*  news outlets toxicology reports confirmed that Mcdonald had the dissociative hallucinogen PCP in his system, however, the toxicology report which was released with Mcdonalds Autopsy and signed by toxicologist Peter Koin shows that he was not tested for PCP and tested negative for 3 other substances.

When I was younger my mother use to always say, " you've got 2 strikes against you already.  You are Black and You are a woman.  You have to work 2 times harder than black men, 5 times harder than white women and 10 times harder than the white man to make it in this world".
